Setup ISCE with scons and all conda for use of rubbersheeting

Added by Lennart Kramer 4 months ago

Hey everyone:)
I want to use the "doRubbersheeting" key in the stripmapApp.xml-file. I simply installed ISCE via conda and I'm using the version 2.3.3.
When I run stripmapApp.py stripmapApp.xml I get:

Error. The attribute corresponding to the key "dorubbersheeting" is not present in the object "<class '__main__.Insar'>".
Possible causes are the definition in the xml file of such attribute that is no longer defined
in the object "<class '__main__.Insar'>" or a spelling error

I then tried to install isce with scons to obtain the latest version following each of those guides:

https://github.com/scottyhq/isce_notes/tree/master/Ubuntu (the non-conda version)
https://github.com/piyushrpt/condaLinuxSetup/blob/master/dev/isceSetup.md (the completely conda-version)

However I didn't really manage to get it done. Could there be any issue with the existing ISCE-version I have downloaded from coda?

Always at the scons install - step something doesn't work. I could provide the log-file and the SConfig, but actually I just wanted to ask for recommendations. Is there any "best" or "simplest" version for a not yet really experienced user to install the lates version of ISCE. Would it maybe be easier in a VM with a completely new installation of gdal, gcc, fortran... I'm not knowing if I'm working into the right direction at the moment. So any help would be super awesome!! Just to spend time doing something that I know is at least the right way.

Hi Lenart,

The conda version should work fine.

The problem is that we have recently added rubbersheeting in range. Therefore you need to be clear which direction do you want.

For rubbersheet in azimuth you need to have:

do rubbersheetingAzimuth

for range you need to have:

do rubbersheetingRange

Sorry for the confusion.

I tried everything in a fresh virtual environment with ubuntu 20.04. I followed more or less exactly the guide here:

https://github.com/piyushrpt/condaLinuxSetup

However, I still get lots of errors when running scons install.
For completeness, and as I'm a little desperate of not making this work, I attach the config.log and the SConfigISCE

Maybe someone sees directly what I'm doing wrong...

Thanks a lot:)

SConfigISCE (2 kB)

config .log (51.9 kB)
